Two Danish soldiers has been killed

The soldiers been killed of some enemy's south for the city Gereshk i Helmand-province south in Afghanistan, says the Danish military.The two soldiers was driving a car on Thursday morning which pass Thru a road bomb, after the explosive bomb has been bombed the enemy started to shoot at them. One of the soldiers was really hurt after the explosion.

With some British soldiers and some other Danish soldiers drive to the place where the two soldiers was lying hurt to help them. When them came to the spot, another bomb was bombed, and one new soldier was killed in the explosion.

Both of the soldiers was from Holstebro.Since 2002 has 19 Danish soldiers been killed in Afghanistan. In this year 9 of this soldiers has been killed.

My story about my holiday in Egypt

The tour to Egypt

I am going to tell about this summer when I went to Egypt. It was summer holiday in 2008, we had not decided us for going on a trip yet. One day in the hot July-days we decided to take a few days in Egypt, because we had not been there before. We bought a cheep family pack to Egypt. We was one mother, one father, me and a friend of mine who travelled to Egypt this summer.

The day before we went down to the airport in Oslo, me and my friend we did not sleep at the night, because we wanted to sleep in the car, because stay awake in the car for 6 ours is very boring. So we was sleeping all the way down to the airport. It felt a kind of strange, because last time we was awake, we was in Trondheim and when we woke up, we was in Oslo which is the capital of Norway. We checked in our bags and was waiting for the plane. When we had settle down on the plane, all of us slept in four ours and wake up in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The clock was around 21:30 when we met our guide and he told us little bit about things we should be careful about when we was sitting on the bus on the way to the hotel we should stay on. He was telling that the food could maybe make us sick, so we should be careful on what we was eating. He also tell us that the Egypt people could be very sneaky and steal our handbags and stuff like that, but this is things you should know about before you are going on a trip

The hotel was nice, many nice people who was so happy to see you, when you never have seen them before. We checked in, we had ordered two rooms, one room for me and my friend and one room for my mother and father. The room was very nice, not a five-stars-hotel but it works.
The time was starting to getting late, so we went to bed the first night.

When we woke up, we went to the restaurant on the hotel for eating breakfast. They had a beautiful buffet with a lot of tasteful food. After we had been eating, we went to the pool and was tanning and swimming for a few ours. On the other side of the hotel it was a shopping centre, so after we have had fun all the day at the pool, we went over to this centre. We bought some clothes, and eat dinner on MacDonald's. We felt a little bit tired, so we went early to bed.

The next day we ate breakfast as usual, after the breakfast, me and my friend went to the beach. There we bought a few beers and was chilling out on the beach, looked at the nice buts which was passing by. We was also playing volleyball with some people we met there. We went back to the hotel and ate Dinner on the hotel, lovely buffet. In the evening we took a taxi to a shopping street and bought some sunglasses and stuff like that. After walking in this streets for ours, we felt tired and went back to the hotel for sleeping.

We was seven days in Sharm El Sheikh and one of this days we went on a boat trip. We had to wake up early in the morning, that was because we had to take a bus down to the sea. The boat we should going on tour with was very nice. Me and my friend was lying in the front of the boat for tanning, and as you know, people get very much tanner when they are on a bout on the sea. We was snorkelling for ours and it was very much beautiful fish to see. After snorkelling for ours, we felt very hungry, the people on the boat cooked chicken and some nice salads.

After we had been shopping, been to the beach and things you do when you are in holiday, we felt satisfied. So after seven days with this, we went home. This was a funny holiday, and I want to go back one day.

Romeo and Juliet

Romeo og Juliet is a tragedy play written by William Shakespeare and is one of his most famous plays. Romeo and Juliet is the most famous love story. It has been made many films about this story and everyone knows about the scene there Romeo talks with Juliet on the balcon.

Short summary
I have seen the film and read about the story and will write about what I have read.

It starts with Romeo who is unlucky in love with a woman - Rosalind. But he easily forget about Rosalind when he see Juliet Capulet for the first time. This is love from the first second and both of them falls in love with each other when they meets. This could be happy love if the werent for that they was from two different parts in the city Verona. This problem makes many problems also for the people who lived in Verona at this time. They decided to mary and they did it like nobody know it. Romeo's family and Juliet's family was in war with each other, and they hated each other. Romeo and Juliet hopes that they familys could be friends after they has married. Juliet made a plan which goes out on how Juliet could run from her family and be happy with Romeo. Romeo does'nt know about this plan and Juliet drank a drink wich make fall in sleep, and then she look like dead. When Romeo saw her, he thought that she was dead, he drank a drink from the apotecer and died for real. When Juliet woke up and saw Romeo lying there dead , she gets very heartbroken and kissed him when the drink was still on Romeo lips. Juliet gets enough of this drink and they bought where lying there in silence, dead.

William Shakespeare
William Shakespeare was a man who write stories , people know this man as a writer and a acter. You can also call him for a good actor and a playwright. He was borned 23. April in 1564 in stratford-upon-avon. William Shakespeare lived in the Renaissance.His job was a glove maker , he worked with his father. This was after he has finished school.He become famous because people loved to see his plays and people think that he wrote all the great plays , he wrote 37 plays.

The Renaissance
Renaissance means "rebirth" and refers from Greece and Rome.The Renaissance is most about men, how they look and the world around them.British ships sailed to new land , the time marked beginning of the British Empire. A important thing to say about this time is that the age was filled with spirit of human freedom.Men started to decide what they wanted to be. For example like a soldier, a hunter, a scholar or a musican.Religion was also very important in this time. They thought that life on earth was just a preparation of death.

One of the characters in the film (Romeo)
Romeo is the one I am going to write about and he is one of the main persons in this movie. A main person is the person who the film is all about, the movie follows you trough the movie, it can also be more than one main person. Romeo is a young man , looking for the love of life. He meets a young woman with name Juliet Capulet. After he have met this woman, he's life changes. He falls in love with this girl and it was love from the first time they saw each other. When he meets this women, he is doing a big mistake, the mistake that he was doing is that he married Juliet when he was very in love with her. That is not a smart thing to do, because when you are young you gets in love very fast and maybe a few months after can this feeling be over. Romeo does not changes a lot in this film, but he changes from the part that you want to find a girl to get a beautiful girl, he also changes from alive to dead what I write about before.

An essay about Romeo and Juliet
This film is a little bit strange I think, because you are sitting there with this question "why?" Yes, why did this happend? Why did he do like that? Why didnt he do like that? Nobody knows. Romeo suddenly finds he's love, but was this lucky love with happy ending? No, this was unlucky love, because it was so many things that happend in this story which tells you that this will go wrong. The negative side in this film is that Romeo and Juliet died in the ending and that can make many people get sad and maybe cry a few tears. Another thing is that Romeo had to move out from the city he was living in, and that makes many problems. The last thing I can remember is that Romeo and Juliet's different familys were not friends, they where actually enemys and that make this story very strange. The good side of this story is that Romeo and Juliet falls in love with each other, and that is very romantic, specially the balcon scene, you know what I am talking about because everyone knows about this scene. I like this story a lot, because I am a boy who cares about love and romantic things, and if you also like that I will beg you to see the film or read the story.

Themes
It is hard to find a specific theme for this story, but one theme I decided to write about is love. Love is a important theme in this story I think, because it starts with happy love and end with drama. Love is when two people have very nice feeling about each other and that feeling can feel very strange. Everyone falls in love actually at least one time in their life, I have felt in love before and that feeling was very nice.

Another theme is hate, this theme is a strange thing. Why is it like this? Why do we have to hate someone? When you are hating someone, you can not tell something nice about them or think good things about them. When you see a person who you are hating, you feel like you have to heart this person. I dont know if it is like that with everyone, but it is like that for me. In this film Romeo's family hates Juliet's family. Romeo thought that he could work this out after they have married, but that was not any good idea.
So the question I am trying to ask you about is, are love a good thing when things like that happend? I dont know, but maybe you know?

Why is English a world language?

English was first spoken in England, today 350 million people talk English as their first language. Today people talk English in The United States, India, Nigeria, United Kingdom, Phillipines, Canada and Australia for example. How did this happen? What happened in Australia? How and where is English used today?

There are several reasons for this, the main reason is that the pirates started to sail around the world and doing business with other countries. Then they spread the language, because people who wanted to do business with the Englishmen who travelled around the world had to talk English to understand each other. They were sailing around and dealing silver, gold, tobacco and different stuff. In Australia, the Englishman came and dealed with the Aussies, some of the things they very dealing was tobacco, cotton, silver and gold.

English is used in many countries like a said.

Many people talk English

Many people talk English, about 350 million persons talk english as their first language. And about 350 million people have English as their Second language. One example is us Norwegian, we talk Norwegian in norway, but we also talk English when we are travelling around the world and in the business life, we use it very much and maybe we dont think we use it a lot, but we do.

Young people always use english on the computer and read a lot of it on the internet.

85 per cent write emails on english.

This is facts to prove that English is a very important language, and a lot of people talk English : )

My name is Vegar Sivertsen, I am sixteen years old, I am living in the rich Norway and my home city is Trondheim. I have family, not a very big one, but not a small one either. I have a brother, mother and a father. I also got a dog and her name is Sarah, she is a flatcoated retriever.

Things I like to do is to play handball, hang out with friends, and maybe take a few beer in the weekends. I love to play handball, we have trainings seven times in week. In the weekends, when it is handball season we play handball matches and our team is very clever, we wins a lot.
I also like to meet friends and specially girls, love is very important to me.

I like to cook food to my family some times, and my parents says that the food I make is very nice.

I have a motorbike which is very important to me, because I dont like to take the bus to the school and when I am going to a workout. So I always use my motorbike when I am travelling around the city.

I have also travelled a lot in other countries, I have been to Spain, Thailand, Bali, Turkey, Sweden, Denmark. This summer we went to Egypt. It was very nice people in Egypt, they were very friendly and kind. The food was nice, but we had to look out for what we were eating. Because the food you are'nt use to can make u sick.

Before the summer vacation I finished Secondary school. My last school was Charlottenlund ungdomsskole. My new school is Brundalen videregående skole, and this school is very nice. I love to go school every morning, I feel that it is a reason to go to school, because the people and the teacher are very kind.
